Israel, the land of kings and prophets; the land that Jesus lived and ministered in. In Joshua 4, God commanded the Israelites to take 12 memorial stones to be used to teach their children that Israel crossed over the Jordan on dry land, and “…that all the peoples of the earth may know the hand of the LORD, that it is mighty, that you may fear the LORD your God forever.”
Join Calvary Chapel of Marlton as they host Israel tour guide Andre Shama on Tuesday, May 9, at 7:30 PM. Drawing on his vast knowledge of Biblical archaeology and experience as a tour guide, Andre will show how the land of Israel deepens our personal Bible study time. He will examine biblical cultures, discuss recent archaeological discoveries and their significance, and teach biblical truths utilizing archaeological sites. You’ll learn why the Holy Land has been called ‘the Fifth Gospel’. There will be time for questions and answers.
Andre holds degrees in both Biblical Archeology and the History of the Holy Land from Haifa University in Israel. He has a passion for sharing his knowledge with believers from around the world, and has been a very popular tour guide for pilgrimages to Israel for over twelve years.
